There are many areas for collecting royal commemoratives, one that is proving to be particularly popular, are items from "The Royal Collection". These pieces are available exclusively from the royal palaces and are not available from any china retailers. Each piece is available for only one year. They are made of fine bone china of superb quality and with such an impressive provenance they build into a unique and stunning collection.

This beautiful fine bone china mug, which is no longer available, was exclusive to The Royal Collection in 1993.

The unique design of this china mug, was specially commissioned by the Royal Collection Trust. The all gilt design is based on details from the damask in the White Drawing Room and the Green Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace. These are part of a magnificent suite of apartments design by the architect John Nash for King George IV in the 1820's.

Made in Staffordshire of fine bone China by traditional methods which have remained unchanged for 250 years, each piece of this English fine bone china is skilfully finished by hand.

The china mug is approx: 3" - 70mm tall, it is in pristine condition, it is complete with its original box and descriptive leaflet. The backstamp of Buckingham Palace is on the base. Unfortunately the gilt does not photograph well, so the photos do not do this piece justice.
