An original 1981 Halcyon Days enameled beaker for the Royal Wedding of Charles and Diana.One of the rarest commemoratives made for the occasion.

The beaker which has a gilt lined flared trumpet shaped rim has an all over decoration much of which is in relief.The design features twin oval profiled silhouettes of Charles and Diana surmounted by The Prince of Wales Crest and flanked by floral sprays.

The back of the beaker has an oval frame with the initials of the couple with the Imperial State Crown above and again flanked by a floral spray.

Encircling the flared rim is the inscription " HRH The Prince of Wales - Lady Diana Spencer - St Paul's Cathedral - 29th July 1981".The inner bowl is enameled in turquoise. Halcyon Days were awarded the coveted Royal Warrants by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Queen Mother and The Prince of Wales as the first and only suppliers of Objects d'Art and they are one of only seven companies to hold all four Royal Warrants.
