A group photograph was taken on each of the official visits that The Prince of Wales made. The Prince gave each member of his staff a signed copy,as such only twenty copies exist, making them extremely rare. There is one person in this photograph who was not on the Princes staff,on the front row, second from the left is Jonathon Dimbleby the TV reporter.

The 10" x 7" - 270mm x 175mm photograph has a very bold clear signature by Prince Charles's hand written in blue ink to the lower border.

The majority of the signed royal photographs sold, prove to be fakes. In the thousands of photographs that have appeared in newspapers and the hundreds of hours of TV, you have never seen Charles or Diana signing autographs - it is not done ! This photograph has an impeccable provenance, being part of a personal collection we bought recently, that had belonged to Sergeant Ronald Lewis the Traveling Yeoman to The Prince and Princess of Wales, following their divorce he continued to work as Yeoman to Princess Diana.

Sgt Lewis worked for the royal family for a total of twenty-nine years, he was a highly valued member of the royal staff and was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal, for services to The Monarch.Sgt Lewis is on the far left of the middle row.

A Certificate of Provenance signed by Keith Lawson will accompany the photograph, both he and Peter Smith the other Director of Royal & Regal Memorabilia appear regularly on TV as experts in this field
